I can support you

wherever you are.

I provide in-person antenatal, birth and postnatal support for people who live within an hour’s drive from Keynsham, BS31, United Kingdom. I can travel further for planned caesarean support. I also provide remote support, via WhatsApp and calls, for people who I can’t get to in person, or who prefer that way of working.

See below for a detailed description of the types of support available, and please do book a free discovery call if you’d like to discuss what kind of support feels right for you.

Please do reach out if you have something else in mind too - I’m flexible and curious to understand how best I can support you on your journey.

  • A pregnant woman on a video call looking happy and content

    Power hour

    £50 total

We’ll talk via videoconferencing to explore a topic of your choice for an hour.

You’ll provide me with details in advance, so that I can conduct any necessary research and prepare - so that you get maximum benefit and value from your time with me.

I promise to hold space for you, to listen wholeheartedly and without judgement. You can bring anything you like to me and we’ll explore it together.

By the time we finish talking, I hope you’ll feel confident and empowered on your topic - and ready to take the next steps that feel right to you.

  • A woman writing

    Create a birth plan

    £100 total

This package would suit you, if you’re being asked for a birth plan but aren’t really sure what to write - maybe you would like time and space to thoroughly consider all options, maybe you’re finding it hard to tune into what you really want, maybe you’re feeling conflicted about what to do.

Sometimes it can be hard to pick through all of the information and well-meaning advice, to create a birth plan that feels personal and makes us feel confident and empowered.

My aim is to hold space for you and talk through the options in a supportive and non-judgemental way, so that you can arrive at a plan that feels right for you. If you’re happy, I’m happy.

This package includes two sessions lasting one hour each. In the first session, I’ll get to know you and we’ll talk through the options for the birth plan. After that session, I’ll send you some more information to read at home and digest. Then we’ll meet again to get the birth plan down on paper - I’ll take notes and send you an editable document afterwards.

We can meet in person for these sessions, if you live within an hour’s drive from Keynsham, BS31, United Kingdom. Or we can hold the sessions on video conferencing.

  • A woman holding a smartphone

    Ongoing remote support

    £200 a month

I’ll be available to you via WhatsApp and call on an ongoing basis.

This may be helpful to you at any point in your pre-pregnancy, pregnancy, birth and postpartum journey. My wish is to be a supportive and useful companion, available to you to help you navigate the various decisions and experiences that come with the journey into parenthood.

    - A weekly call, to discuss anything that is on your mind - for me to hold space for you and listen to you, without judgement or interruption.

    - Support over WhatsApp, with messages answered within 24 hours. This could be 1:1 messages, or a group with your birthing partner.

    - Any research needed from me, to support you in the specifics of your journey.

    - I’ll keep my phone on loud during the birth, so that you can get hold of me if you need a sounding board and support in realtime.

I am here to support you wholeheartedly and without judgement - I am here to walk the path with you, whichever path you may choose.

  • Two women fist-bumping

    Journey package

    £4000 total

This package would suit you if you wish to travel this journey with a champion and advocate by your side, for me to deeply connect with you and be with you every step of the way.

I have trained in the Continuum Doula model, which places emphasis on continuity of care and support. We will see each other for six sessions antenatally, which can involve me coming to appointments with you - if you’d like that. I’ll be there to support you for the birth, by which point we’ll have developed a beautiful relationship and a deep understanding around birth preferences. Then, I’ll see you for six sessions postnatally, to support you to settle into life as a mother and reflect on the unparalleled rite of passage that is birth and becoming a mother.

My wish is that you feel comfortable and confident in your pregnancy, birth and beyond - with strong awareness of what you want and how you’d like the people around you to support that. I’d like to create space for you, so that you feel held but ultimately confident in your own capabilities. You already have everything you need within you and I’ll be there to help you believe that that’s true.

What does the £4000 fee include?

    - Six antenatal sessions, during which I’ll get to know you, from what matters to you most to how you like your tea and develop an understanding of your birth preferences and values. We’ll work on a birth preferences document together, for the rest of your birthing team - whomever may or may not be involved.

    - I’ll go on-call 24/7 for your birth from 38 weeks until your baby is born, to be there to support you in the birth and only departing once you’re feeling settled and your baby has had their first feed (whatever that looks like for you).

    - Six postnatal sessions, to support you in your new role/s as parent/s. We can reflect on the birth in a way that feels helpful for you and I can support in any way you wish (for example, I could do a load of laundry, hold the baby whilst you shower, signpost you to further support if wanted or needed).

    - Contact outside of our time together, to help answer any questions you may have or process new situations or information. This starts as soon as you book me and finishes two weeks after our final postnatal visit.

    - Any research needed from me, to support you in the specifics of your journey.

    - Travel costs to enable me to be there for you during our sessions and the birth.

This in-person package is available to you, if you live within an hour’s drive from Keynsham, BS31, United Kingdom.

I’m here to support wholeheartedly and without judgement, whatever you choose and whatever unfolds - home birth, hospital birth, planned caesarean, anything that feels right to you.

  • A woman holding her newborn baby after a caesarean

    Planned caesarean support

    £2,500 total

This package would suit you if you’re confident that you’re choosing a planned caesarean and don’t want to explore other options. I will fully respect your decision, and walk alongside you - focussing on supporting you to feel powerful and held.

What does the £2,500 fee include?

    - Two antenatal sessions, to consider and write down what you’d like in your caesarean birth plan - so that the plan feels personal and right for you. In our time together, we will explore options - like the idea of a ‘gentle caesarean’, doing things to support your baby’s microbiome, doing things to support breastfeeding (if that’s what you’d like to do) and your ideas. We will work together to create your birth plan, as a resource for your birth team to understand your preferences and priorities.

    - When it comes time to birth your baby, I will come to the hospital with you. Some surgeons only allow one birth partner, some allow two. We can communicate with the hospital, to encourage them to make an exception to allow a second birth partner, even if that is not usually how the surgeon works. If you are only allowed one birth partner, that could be me or your partner. If I am not present in the theatre for the caesarean itself, I can still accompany you for your admission and pre-op discussions with the surgeon and anaesthetist. I can also be with you for your recovery and can spend the first night with you on the postnatal ward, so that your partner can go home and get some sleep - so they’re on top form to support you the next day. I can be there when you’d like me to be there, and can give you privacy as a family when you’d like that - I am here to support you in the way that is most helpful to you.

    - I’ll visit you for one postnatal session, during which time we can debrief the birth if you’d like - and I can support you in whatever way feels most helpful to you (for example, I could do a load of laundry, hold the baby whilst you shower, signpost you to further support if wanted or needed).

    - Contact outside of our time together, to help answer any questions you may have or process new situations or information. This starts as soon as you book me and finishes two weeks after our final postnatal visit.

    - Any research needed from me, to support you in the specifics of your journey.

I can travel anywhere to provide this package. There will be no additional charge, if you’re within an hour’s drive from Keynsham, BS31, United Kingdom. If you live further away, I’ll charge travel as an additional fee - we will pre-agree this at the time of booking.

I’m here to support wholeheartedly and without judgement.

  • A cup of tea

First night on the postnatal ward

    £600 total

If you’re having a caesarean, then you’ll be staying in the hospital overnight. The first night can be tough, with a schedule of pain medication to stay on top of, a catheter to be removed, and a baby to look after.

Sometimes it feels like it’s best to divide and conquer, with a partner heading home to get some sleep - so they are best placed to support you the following day.

I can come and stay with you overnight, so that you don’t have to go through the first night alone.

Some things that you might find useful - to be led by you:

    - I can note down when you’re due your medications and chase these up if they are not provided on time.

    - I can change the baby’s nappy if you’d like, or help you to do that.

    - I can pass the baby to you for feeding, and help you to feel comfortable doing this.

    - I can mind the baby whilst you have your first shower.

    - I can keep you topped up with tea and toast, or whatever you’d like to eat and drink.

    - I can generally be your companion and a supportive, listening ear.

I can travel anywhere to provide this package. There will be no additional charge, if you’re within an hour’s drive from Keynsham, BS31, United Kingdom. If you live further away, I’ll charge travel as an additional fee - we will pre-agree this at the time of booking.

  • Hands open, showing support

    Postnatal support

£250 for 10 hours, or £30 per hour

This package would suit you, if you’ve already had your baby and would like to feel supported and nurtured in your postpartum experience. I’ll be an extra pair of hands, for whatever would be most helpful for you. Maybe you’d like me to hold the baby whilst you shower, put on a load of laundry, or join you as a companion for your first few trips out of the house. I’ll be led by you.

You can book me for £30 per hour, or book a block of 10 hours for £250. This cost also covers my travel and any research needed outside of our time, for me to best support you. There will be no additional costs.

Please do get in touch to discuss what would be most helpful for you and to book me in.

This in-person package is available to you, if you live within an hour’s drive from Keynsham, BS31, United Kingdom.

Before you book any of the packages, we’ll have a free discovery call or meeting - so that we can get to know each other and answer any questions. There is absolutely no obligation for you to book after the free discovery call of meeting, it is entirely your choice.
